Jerzy Trela
Born in 1958. He graduated from the University of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow (Faculty of Geological Prospecting, specialization in oil and gas prospecting) and completed postgraduate studies on geophysical prospecting (AGH, 1989), management (SGH, 2001) and controlling (UG, 2005). He also attended numerous trainings in Poland and abroad in the field of seismic prospecting and management.
Jerzy Trela joined GT in 1982 and advanced his career through Seismic Data Acquisition and Processing Departments. He also gained extensive experience while working under contracts in India and Japan. He worked as Observer at seismic party, Party Chief, Seismic Data Processing Engineer, Marketing Manager as well as Vice Director of Marketing and Sales. In 2006 he was promoted to the position of Vice Director of Marketing and Contracts and in 2007 to Vice President & CCO.
In 2008 Jerzy Trela became Senior Vice President & COO.
Jerzy Trela is highly experienced in conducting seismic surveys for oil and gas prospecting. Recently, his main fields of interests cover management, especially marketing of services, contracting of geophysical services and controlling.
