Geofizyka Toruń (GT) has nearly 50 years of experience in conducting seismic field operations focused on prospecting conventional and unconventional oil and natural gas deposits, geothermal energy as well as underground storages for natural gas and CO2.

For surveying unconventional deposits the Company offers seismic data acquisition services characterized by high data quality and uniform distribution of offsets and azimuths, which are necessary for complete description of gas accumulation in shale reservoirs. Such studies allow the assessment of anisotropic rock properties necessary for identification of cracks, stress and gas saturation.

GT covers all aspects of seismic field operations, including:

 Surveying
 Acquisition of 2D/3D and 3C Seismic Data
 Data Quality Control & In-field Data Processing


Seismic surveys are performed in all onshore environments, including:

 Deserts
 Heavy Forest and Dense Jungles
 Transition Zone & Swamps
 Highlands & Mountainous Areas
 Urban & Environmentally Protected Areas


For each environment, GT adapts specific QHSE procedures based on the guidelines of the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (OGP) and International Association of Geophysical Contractors (IAGC).

GT operates a wide variety of seismic equipment, including above others: buggy-mounted vibrators, dedicated drilling equipment and advanced recording systems.

The Company has extensive international experience. GT conducts projects in Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East. GT is an official geophysical contractor for various companies in the oil and gas industry, such as: PGNiG, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, Oil India, GSPC and Eni.
