Geofizyka Toruń is a company whose strategy constitutes responsible business in line with principles of sustainable development. We believe that not only can the Company create value for owners, but also be a leader which contributes positively to the natural environment and society.
Considering the needs of stakeholders, including clients, employees, sub-contractors and local communities, Geofizyka Torun has established 6 strategic objectives, which represent the Company's priorities in terms of CSR - responsible business. These are:

This is accomplished through use of our Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Management System (QHSE MS).
As a part of the open communication policy we are constantly engaged in a dialogue with stakeholders and actively support the idea of Responsible Business by sharing our over 40-year-experience in acting with respect for the natural environment and the diversity of the local communities of the entire world.

In the prestigious IV all-Poland ranking of Responsible Companies 2010 co-organized and verified by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Geofizyka Torun was placed on the 8th position within the Energy and Oil Industry in Poland.
Geofizyka Toruń has been awarded the title Quality of the Year 2010 Creative PR Agency (publisher of Business Report) and Polish Center for Testing & Certification.

Employing and training the staff from the local market.
Geofizyka Toruń supports local communities by employing and training local employees and companies, especially relating to health and safety at work, environmental protection and conducting geophysical works. GT employs local staff for seismic works abroad, mainly India, where local employees constitute several dozen per cent of the seismic groups personnel and also occupy key engineering-technical positions. All employees beginning work in the seismic group, as well as sub-contractors' employees, undergo induction training which includes an explanation of company HSE policies, including the Policy of Responsible Business concerning respect for human rights and fair treatment. Our training's overriding goal is to discuss aspects of safe work and provide employees with required HSE competences.
