As a company rich in experience with several decades of work in almost every corner of the world, Geofizyka Toruń is committed to supporting sustainable development, defined as the economic and social development connected with environmental protection, and recognizes also the need for ensuring diverse opportunities to improve society development.

We work diligently to establish good relations with communities that we work in, and often these relationships are a reason for particular satisfaction with a project. Cooperation with local authorities and the community is carried out through:

 Identifying and notifying local and materially competent public authorities of the intention to carry out geophysical work, and what the project entails,
 Meetings with representatives of local communities (e.g. village leaders) informing about the planned geophysical work,
 Individual talks with property owners to obtain temporary permission to enter their property in order to carry out seismic project,
 Publishing the essential information on the Company website and publishing and distributing the special magazine for stakeholders "Treasures of the Earth".


Maintaining effective cooperation based on dialogue with social and business partners manifests itself also in employing the largest possible number of local companies, especially local subcontractors who are able to effectively support the goals set for the project, and in hiring local staff, sharing knowledge and promoting safe working conditions among subcontractors.

The Company also supports local social initiatives of the voivodeship Kujawsko-Pomorskie over the long term. For example, Geofizyka Toruń is a member - founder of the Beautiful World Foundation in Skłudzewo, which was found in 1989 in order to preserve valuable history and tradition, enrich present values and create a more beautiful future. The Foundation implements programs aimed towards activating the artistic sensitivity of children and adolescents, and in development of their talents.
